Karate clubs in Dewsbury

Two WYSOK clubs train in Dewsbury, covering Thornhill, Thornhill Edge, Thornhill Lees, Overthorpe, Middlestown, Savile Town and Overton — and between them a choice of two styles from the same hall. Both are at Thornhill Social Club on Mountain Road: Hellcat Martial Arts teaches Wado Ryu Karate on a Tuesday and a Thursday, and Hellcat Ju Jitsu runs on a Wednesday, with a junior class for five to thirteen year olds and an adult class from fourteen upwards. They are run by the same father-and-son instructors, so anyone who wants to train in both is welcome, and anyone unsure which would suit them can try each without going anywhere else.
